Q: A woman was living with her husband in a rented house, then he died (Part No. 15; Page No. 95) in a year after paying half of the rent only, and she asks about the rest of the rent, she mentions that she has left the house lest she should pay the rest of the rent

A: If the inquirer has left the house after her husband's death without using any thing from its utilities afterwards, she is not obliged to pay the remaining sum, and the issue of this sum should persist between the leaser and the heirs of the renter, if both parties were able to reach an agreement, that is good, if not, the dispute should be attributed to the court to have the final word in it.
