Monetary aid intended to be given to an insane person should be received by his guardian
Q 2: Some people give me Zakah (obligatory charity) to spend on my insane neighbor. However, he does not make good use of it and buys harmful things, such as cigarettes. How should I deal with him? Should I give him (Part No. 11; Page No. 147) the Zakah or send it back to the people who pay it? I hope you will guide me to the method that discharges me of the Zakah assigned to him.
