Missing congregational Salah because of work

Q 1: A man works in a company from ten o'clock at night until six or seven o'clock in the morning. When he gets back home, he sleeps until three or four o'clock in the afternoon and sometimes he sleeps until sunset. This makes him miss congregational prayers including the Jumu`ah (Friday) Prayer. I awaken him to perform Prayers when I am at home with him. What is the ruling on this case? Please advise, may Allah reward you with the best.

A: If you are at home with him, you have to awaken (Part No. 5; Page No. 133) and advise him that it is better for him to sleep between Prayers as well as seeking the causes that help him wake up at the due time of Salah (Prayer). You should remind him of the Ayahs (Qur'anic verses) and Hadiths which indicate the reward and good end awaiting those who offer Salah regularly and congregationally. Likewise, you should also in the same manner remind him of the torment and bad end for those who are heedless of Salah and keep delaying it.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
