Marrying a woman who uncovers her face and hands
Q 1: Is it permissible for a Muslim to marry a woman who uncovers her face and hands only (but covers everything else)?
A: It is permissible, but she should be advised to cover her face and hands in the presence of Ajanib (men other than a husband or permanently unmarriageable male relatives). It is, however, preferable to choose a woman who covers herself (completely) through her own choice. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
