Q: As you know, Hajj is one of the five Pillars of Islam and some years there is crowding, because many pilgrims erect tents outside Hajj sites, such as
Mina and
Muzdalifah.
They go out from their places and spend the night inside the boundaries of these sites, and then in the morning they return back to their tents. Please advise us, is it correct to do this or not?
A:
pilgrims who cannot find a place in
Mina and so stay out of
Mina on the days of
Mina, but spend the night at
Mina and then go back to their dwelling after dawn has broken, there is nothing wrong with that. Nor with their spending the night in their dwelling, if it is not possible for them to stay at
Mina. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
