It is obligatory upon the persons

A: First, you should return your share of the value of the things which you sold or usurped to their owners, and if they are not alive, you should return it to their heirs. If it is difficult to locate them, you may give the value in charity (Part No. 15; Page No. 363) to the poor, dedicating the reward to the owners. Second, you should exert every effort to know the value of the things you have taken and the prices you have sold them for and give in charity the amount you think is due on you. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
