A1 : It is permissible for a woman to give the Zakah (obligatory charity) due on her wealth to her husband if he is poor so as to ward off his poverty. This comes in accordance with the general meaning of Allah's (Exalted be He) Saying: As-Sadaqât (here it means Zakât) are only for the Fuqarâ’ (poor), and the Masâkin (needy) ...
