Is it permissible for a woman to travel to perform Hajj without her husband's consent?

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel except with a Mahram. Traveling in the company of a trustworthy group of women does not serve as an alternative for traveling without a Mahram, whether to perform Hajj or for any other purpose.
