Is it permissible for a wife to bear the expenses of Hajj for her husband acting as a Mahram and for her children?

Q 2: Is it permissible for a wife to bear the expenses of the Hajj for her husband, who is accompanying her as Mahram (spouse or permanently unmarriageable relative), and for her children?

A: The wife may bear the expenses of her husband who is traveling with her during her Hajj, or any other journey for her personal good. However, she should only bear the expenses exceeding her usual basic expenses that are obligatory on him during their normal life. (Part No. 10; Page No. 38) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
