Is it necessary to remove an artificial limb when performing Wudu'?

Q 2: My hand was amputated from the elbow and an artificial hand made of nylon was fastened to my forearm. Because unfastening this artificial hand requires much effort, must I unfasten it every time I perform Wudu' (ablution), or is it sufficient to wipe it with water? Kindly give me a Fatwa, may Allah reward you.

A: If there is a portion of the elbow still uncut, you must wash it, as the elbow has to be washed along with the hand, which applies to its remaining part. (Part No. 4; Page No. 85) Allah (Exalted be He) says: So keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him as much as you can It is not sufficient to wipe over the artificially fastened limb unless it is difficult to unfasten it, in which case you may wipe over it to avoid hardship and difficulty. However, if the elbow is entirely cut, you will have to do nothing because the limb that must be washed is totally absent.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
