Is it better to supplicate Allah
A: It is not permissible to call a deceased person "Al-Marhum"; rather, it should be said: "May Allah be merciful with him". This is because saying "Al-Marhum" is tantamount to saying that the deceased person has already been granted the Mercy of Allah (Exalted be He) while nobody knows about this except Allah (Glorified be He).May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
