Investing the orphans’ property

Q 4: Is it permissible for me to trade in the orphans’ property that I have, conducting buying and selling transactions, until it gains profit and then pay the Zakah (obligatory charity) from the profits?

A: It is permissible for you to conduct buying and selling transactions with that property and run it as you do your own. You should fear Allah as He should be feared and know that He watches you in your privacy and in public. You should also pay the Zakah due on this property. (Part No. 14; Page No. 221) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
