Impermissibility of a milk mother having a share of the inheritance

Q 3: Is a mother by suckling entitled to inherit from her son by suckling, who dies and leaves behind children and a wife. If yes, what is her share?


A: The mother by suckling has no right to the inheritance of one she has suckled, whether he has heirs or not. However, she may deserve to inherit on another account, such as being the grandmother or sister of the nursling, in which case she inherits due to blood relationship. May Allah grant us success.
