I proposed to a girl, but the elder

Q: My uncle's wife breastfed my youngest brother while my mother breastfed my cousin who is older than me. My uncle's wife has a daughter who is older than all of us. Is it permissible for me to marry her granddaughter? Please, advise us and thank you very much.


A: If the matter is as you have described, it is permissible for you to marry her granddaughter as this breastfeeding does not affect your marriage.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
