Having intercourse with the wife immediately after taking her back in marriage
Q 1: Is it permissible for a husband who pronounces Talaq (divorce pronounced by a husband) once to have sexual intercourse with his wife immediately after taking her back in marriage? Please enlighten us, and may Allah reward you with the best.
A: If a husband gives his wife a revocable divorce then takes her back while she is still in `Iddah (woman's prescribed waiting period after divorce or widowhood), she remains his lawful wife and he has all his rights just as before Talaq takes place. (Part No. 20; Page No. 253) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
