Hair loss medicine containing a percentage of alcohol

Q 1: Is it permissible to use hair medication containing 63% alcohol, bearing in mind that this is the only medication? (Part No. 25; Page No. 35

A: It is not permissible to seek treatment with any intoxicant, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade seeking treatment with Khamr (intoxicant) and said, No, for it (Khamr) is a disease, not a remedy. He (peace be upon him) also said: Treat yourselves medically, but use nothing unlawful. Ibn Mas`ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Allah has not made your treatment in what He made unlawful to you."May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
