Giving the stolen money in charity due to not knowing the owners


If a person gives in charity the things they have stolen or their value on behalf of the person they have robbed after being unable to locate them, it will be sufficient. We ask Allah (Exalted be He) to grant them forgiveness and accept their sincere repentance. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
