Giving presents to the People of the Book
A: It is permissible to give presents to non-Muslims and to give them part of the sacrificial animal and from voluntary charities if they are not fighting against us because of the saying of Allah (Exalted be He), Allâh does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with equity. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
