Giving preference to marriage over Hajj in fear of committing adultery
Q 2: Which is better in the Sight of Allah (Exalted be He); to perform Hajj, or `Umrah during Ramadan, or to marry if the person is not married?
A: If you fear that you may commit adultery, you have to give precedence to marriage over performance of Hajj and `Umrah. If not, you should give precedence to performing Hajj and `Umrah over marriage. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
