Giving people back their rights to repent of this injustice

A: It is worth mentioning that one of the conditions of repentance regarding people's rights is that a person has to pay back other's rights by repaying the stolen money if the sin is theft. If the right is not money, a person has to seek the forgiveness of the person or people whom he had wronged. If seeking the forgiveness of those persons will yield any harm, a person should treat them as kind as possible and invoke the blessing of Allah on them. (Part No. 24; Page No. 358) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
