Funeral Prayer for two dead people

Q 2: What is the ruling of offering a Funeral Prayer for two dead people; one of them present and the other absent? Should we perform the Funeral Prayer once for them or should we perform a separate Funeral Prayer for each one of them?

A: Due to the fact that there is no difference between performing the Funeral Prayer for the present and the absent dead person with (Part No. 8; Page No. 394) regard to sayings and deeds, we find no harm in performing one Funeral Prayer for both of them; the absent and the present one. It will be the same as performing the Funeral Prayer for two present or two absent dead people.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
