Feeling a discharge of urine after finishing Wudu'

Q 5: After performing Wudu' (ablution), I feel the dripping of some urine. When I check my underwear, I sometimes find drops and sometimes not. I am afraid that I suffer from urinary incontinence. Please advise concerning the lawful treatment for this condition.

A: This is Waswasah (insinuating thoughts from Satan). You should ignore it unless you are sure that some drops of urine have come out. In this case, you should repeat Istinja' (cleansing the private parts with water after urination or defecation) and Wudu', according to the statement of the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he was asked about a person who thinks he has passed wind during Salah (Prayer). He (peace be upon him) replied, 'He should not interrupt Salah unless he hears a sound or smells something.' (Agreed upon by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)May Allah grant us success.
