Feeding a family of ten poor people as Kaffarah for an oath

Q 4: The Kaffarah (expiation) for an oath is to feed ten poor people. If there is a family of ten or eight members, all of them deserving Sadaqah (voluntary charity), is it permissible to give half a Sa` (1 Sa`=3 kg. Approx.) as Sadaqah for each member of the family or should Sadaqah be given to one poor family even if it is less than ten members?

A: It is enough to offer a Kaffarah for an oath by feeding ten poor people, each one is to be given half a Sa` of wheat or the like, whether they are the members of one family or not.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
