Q 7: Is it permissible to offer a two-Rak`ah Nafilah (supererogatory) Salahs of a certain obligatory Salah (prayer) with the same intention as that of another obligatory Salah or as that of Tahiyyat-ul-Masjid (two-unit Prayer to salute the mosque)?

A: It is permissible to offer a two-Rak`ah Nafilah of a certain obligatory Salah with the same intention as that of Tahiyyat-ul-Masjid. It is not, however, permissible to offer a two-Rak`ah Nafilah of a certain obligatory Salah with the same intention as that of another obligatory Salah.May Allah grant us success.
