Salah by someone who trails his garment

Q 9: what is the ruling on a man offering Salah (Prayer) while wearing a garment that extends below his ankles?

A: Isbal (lengthening and trailing clothing below the ankles) is forbidden whether it is done during Salah or otherwise. As for Salah performed by one who commits Isbal, it is valid; however, he is sinful.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
