Turning a wife against her husband

A: It is Haram (prohibited) to damage the relationship between a wife and her husband and to turn her against him, whether the person responsible for it is a relative or someone else. It was reported by Al-Nasa’y, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Hibban, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Anyone who turns a woman against her husband or a slave against his master is not one of us.” (Part No. 18; Page No. 57) The wording of the Hadith is that of Abu-Dawud. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
