Cheating in exams

Q 2: If my colleague who sits next to me during an exam asks me questions and I give him the answers to some of the exam questions, is this considered cheating?

A: Yes, this is considered cheating because it is not permissible for him to ask you questions and it is also not permissible for you to reply to him during an exam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Anyone who cheats us does not belong to us. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
