Those who put their money on deposit or in a mudaraba transaction with a trustworthy person and delegates them to pay the due Zakah on their behalf, they will be cleared from the obligation of paying the Zakah. But, in case the trustee does not pay the money or there is doubt from the owner's side that the money has not been paid, they (the owner) should pay it, for the basic principle is that the dueness of the Zakah (on money) is pending on the account of its owner until payment becomes confirmed.May Allah grant us success.
