Fasting Kaffarah for sixty days regardless of the length of months

A: You have to fast the second day of Shawwal in order that you complete the sixty days, because you have fasted only fifty nine days, since the month of Rajab this year, 1417 A.H., was 29 days and Sha`ban was 30 days. Sawm (Fast) of Ramadan does not break the consecutiveness of obligatory Sawm in expiation due on you. As for the issue of (Part No. 21; Page No. 284) inheritance, it should be referred to the courts concerned.May Allah grant us success.
