Explaining some evidence taken from Ayahs

A: It is permissible to explain the Ayahs and state their meanings without reading their text if the interpreter is trustworthy, reliable, and knowledgeable of the Tafsir (explanation/exegesis of the meanings) of the Ayahs according to the methodology of Ahl-ul-Sunnah wal-Jama‘ah (adherents to the Sunnah and the Muslim mainstream).
