Distributing the inheritance according to what is stated in the Qur'an

Q 2: A young married woman who has no children died. She had parents and a husband. She left 50,000 Riyals worth of jewels. Is this money the right of the heirs? Should this property be spent as an on-going charity? What should we do?


A: The jewels left by this woman are legal inheritance that should be distributed among the heirs according to what is mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
