A:
If the fact is as mentioned; describing Allah (Glorified be He) as the Mastermind to make things easier for people to understand is wrong. That is because of the fact that the Names and Attributes of Allah are divinely revealed. Allah never used "Mastermind" as a Name or an Attribute of Him nor did His Messenger (peace be upon him) refer to Him as such. Nevertheless, this person cannot be regarded a Kafir (disbeliever) due to his good intention. It is enough for a person who wants to explain these matters to others to describe Allah with the attributes of perfection. For instance, this person should show that Allah's Knowledge encompasses everything and that it is Allah Who possesses infinite wisdom, evaluates and manages the affairs of His creation. Thus, there will be no need for using names and attributes unsanctioned by Him. Moreover, referring to Allah as the Mastermind is imitating the theory of ten minds held by the philosophers.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
