Delaying making Kaffarah for a year

Q 3: What is the ruling on an oath that has been sworn but not fulfilled for a full year?

A: If a person swears an oath and breaks it, they have to offer Kaffarah (expiation) for an oath, whether they break it before or after the end of a full year. If they do not break it, there is nothing due on them.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
