Dealing in pork

Q: Is it permissible to deal in pigs?

A: Pork is Haram (prohibited) according to the texts of the Qur'an, Sunnah, and Ijma` (consensus of scholars), and (Part No. 22; Page No. 289) any money earned from it is also Haram. This is because when Allah (Exalted be He) forbids a thing, He also forbids its price and earning a profit by dealing in it.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
