Cutting off the ears of cattle

A: It is not permissible to cut off the ears or horns of sheep for adornment, since this involves torturing the animal and imitating non-Muslims when they change the nature of what Allah has created. It is a Muslim's duty to treat animals kindly and refrain from harming them.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
