Q: I work in a butcher's shop beside a Masjid (mosque). I have to
offer Salah (Prayer) in clothes stained with the blood of slaughtered animals.
Is my Salah valid?
A:
The basic ruling concerning the clothes of a butcher is that they are Tahir (ritually pure), unless there are traces of blood of slaughtered animals; hence the garment should be purified before offering Salah.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
