Changing the family name
Q 4: What is the ruling on a poor woman who receives money from a prince, writing a family name other than her own?
A: It is not permissible for this woman to write a name other than the name of her family because this is lying and forgery. (Part No. 11; Page No. 482) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
