Brother of the sister-in-law

Q 2: I have a brother of my sister-in-law who is 16 years old. He is also my cousin. He lives in my house at the present time. He is a student and I used to help him study his lessons. I uncover my face before him though I veil my hair and all my body. I do not wear except legally proper clothes before him, but I uncover my face. Is it permissible for me to do that? What should I do in this regard as this is incumbent upon me by my family. Moreover, I have to help him in doing his homework.

A: You are not permitted to uncover your face or be alone in seclusion with this person because he is a non-Mahram (not a spouse or an unmarriageable relative) for you. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
