Birth control for a breastfeeding mother

Q 3: Some women use contraceptive pills during the breastfeeding period to avoid causing themselves and their babies any harm? What is the ruling on doing so and is it permissible or not?

A: If the reality is as mentioned, that using these pills do not endanger the woman's health, then there is no harm in taking them due to the mentioned reason. (Part No. 19; Page No. 322) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
