Beating animals

Q 2: What is the ruling on beating animals like camels, goats, or sheep? Is this Haram (prohibited)?

A: It is not permissible to beat animals when it is not necessary. When the necessity exists, a person may beat them proportionately avoiding the face and severe beating.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
