Bearing the name Raqib
A: There is no harm in calling a person 'Raqib', as this does not imply likening a creature to Allah (Exalted be He), for the meaning that applies to Allah (Exalted be He) is completely different from that of His creatures. Allah (Exalted be He) says: There is nothing like Him; and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
