Asking Allah using predicative sentences
A: It is permissible to pray to Allah with any words, as long as it is not a sin or severing ties with one's kith and kin, whether this is in the imperative such as saying "O Allah, forgive so and so," or in the predicative such as saying "May Allah bestow mercy upon so-and-so" or "May Allah forgive so-and-so."May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
