Angels in charge of the sun's movements

A: The sun runs according to the Divine Will and Decree. Allah (Glorified be He) states, And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. There are no angels entrusted with the motion of the sun requiring Abu Idris or any other servant as supporters for them. Thus, this is but a false claim and vain conjecture of the ignorantly inspired by their extreme beliefs in those they consider Awliya' (devout and righteous people). In fact, this false claim has no foundation in the Book of Allah or in the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Finally, this issue is of the hidden doctrinal matters that may only be known by textual evidence authentically reported from the infallible Prophet (peace be upon him).May Allah grant us success.
