Allowing a woman to uncover her face to work as a doctor
Q 12: A female physician finds it difficult to cover her face in front of non-Mahrams (not a spouse or an unmarriageable relative) while she is working. Can this be a necessity for her to uncover her face?
A: It is prohibited for a woman to uncover her face in front of non-Mahrams. Moreover, she is not obliged to uncover her face while she is working. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
