Q 1: Boxing is a game in which two participants punch each other in the face. As a result, this might cause one of the boxers to lose consciousness. Moreover, the thighs of the players and their `Awrah (parts of the body that must be covered in public) are uncovered.

A: Boxing is not permissible for the great danger it entails. Allah (Exalted be He) says: ...and do not throw yourselves into destruction And: And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allâh is Most Merciful to you. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm It is not permissible to uncover thighs and the rest of the `Awrah. (Part No. 15; Page No. 200) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
