Abstaining from using the electricity or water counter in a non-Muslim country

Q 8: Is it permissible to damage the electricity meter or water meter in a non-Muslim country to weaken its economy? Given that this country (Part No. 23; Page No. 442) imposes on me unfair taxes.


A: It is impermissible to do this, as it entails taking people's money wrongfully.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
