A woman traveling with a boy after he reaches the legal age
Q: I am a divorced woman and I have a son and a daughter from my ex-husband. My son has now reached the full legal age as he is fifteen years old now, and he is studying. Is it permissible for me to travel with him as my Mahram (spouse or permanently unmarriageable relative)? Please clarify this for me and may Allah reward you.
A: If the matter is as you mentioned, your son is considered a Mahram for you and it is permissible for you to travel with him. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
