A rejected Athar

Q 1: Would you please comment on the Hadith which indicates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) will be seated on the throne

A: There is no authentic report from the Prophet (peace be upon him) in this regard as far as we know. As for the statement ascribed to Mujahid (may Allah be merciful to him), it is a false statement as viewed by several Hadith Scholars.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
