A non-Muslim worker in a print house photocopying the Qur'an
Q: My friend owns a printing press and he has a non-Muslim employee working for him. Sometimes, the clients ask the non-Muslim employee to photocopy some Ayahs (Qur'anic verses) to be placed in their books. So, my friend pulled out a part from the Mus-haf (copy of the Qur'an). Is it permissible for the (Part No. 3; Page No. 44) non-Muslim employee to touch a page from the Mus-haf? It is worth mentioning that he touches a page and not the whole Mus-haf. If this is not permissible, what should my friend do if the clients insist on photocopying the Ayahs while it is not permissible for a non-Muslim to touch the Mus-haf?
