A Muslim donates the expenses of Hajj to another Muslim
Q 2: Is it permissible for a Muslim to donate the expenses of Hajj to another Muslim, given the fact that the recipient of the donation is financially capable of performing Hajj?
A: It is permissible for a person to perform Hajj with the money which is granted to him without his asking for it, (Part No. 10; Page No. 73) even if he himself was capable of paying for the costs of Hajj. However, it is better if he undertakes the expenses of Hajj from his own money in order to combine the reward of performing Hajj and the reward of paying for it.
